Drive to Osmington Mills, watch Isle of Portland from a distance and visit a beautiful 18th century pub.
About 25mins drive.
A little bit about the village:
“There has been a settlement in this area since the Bronze Age and several artefacts have been found around Osmington.”
“The Osmington White Horse is a figure of King George III on horseback, which was sculpted into the chalk hills in the early 19th century.”
My conclusion its a nice village with a very beautiful 18th century pub that’s worth paying a visit, also having a nice distance watching Isle of Portland from the beach.
Pictures taken from my phone are not good enough to represent how beautiful the place actually is.
